The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) resmi merilis daftar lengkap nominasi Academy Awards ke-98 atau Piala Oscar 2026 pada Kamis (22/1/2026) malam waktu Indonesia.

Pengumuman nominasi tersebut dibacakan oleh Danielle Brooks dan Lewis Pullman. Dalam daftar yang dirilis, film Sinners tampil sebagai judul dengan perolehan nominasi terbanyak, baik untuk kategori utama maupun teknis.

Sinners mengantongi 17 nominasi, termasuk Best Picture, Best Director untuk Ryan Coogler, Best Actor untuk Michael B Jordan, hingga Best Original Screenplay.

Di posisi berikutnya ada One Battle After Another dengan 13 nominasi, yang mencakup Best Picture, Best Director untuk Paul Thomas Anderson, Best Actor untuk Leonardo DiCaprio, serta Best Adapted Screenplay.

Sementara itu, Frankenstein menyusul dengan 10 nominasi. Lalu Marty Supreme dan Sentimental Value sama-sama mengoleksi sembilan nominasi, sedangkan Hamnet meraih delapan nominasi.

Sesuai prediksi, KPop Demon Hunters juga masuk daftar Oscar 2026 dengan dua nominasi, yakni Best Animated Feature dan Best Original Song lewat lagu Golden. Pencapaian ini sekaligus mencatat sejarah karena Golden menjadi lagu K-pop pertama yang pernah masuk nominasi Oscar.

Malam puncak Academy Awards ke-98 masih dijadwalkan berlangsung pada Minggu, 15 Maret 2026, bertempat di Dolby Theatre, Los Angeles. Komedian Conan O’Brien dipastikan menjadi pembawa acara.
